Wominjeka Services’ values result from extensive team communication, self-appraisal, and development of our corporate vision – who we are, where we want to be, and what we can achieve.
Wominjeka Services born from my experience as a young Indigenous mother of four. I felt a deep responsibility not only for my children, but also for my community. There was a pressing need for support and resources that truly resonated with our culture and values. I set out to create a service that would uplift Indigenous families, providing them with the tools and support they needed to thrive. The name “Wominjeka”, which means “welcome” in the language of my people, perfectly encapsulates our mission: We strive to create an inviting and supportive environment where families feel valued and heard. Each initiative we undertake is rooted in the belief that when we come together with purpose, we can drive meaningful change within our community. As Wominjeka Services grew, it became more than just a company; it evolved into a beacon of hope and empowerment for Indigenous individual and families. We focus on initiatives that celebrate our culture, offer practical assistance, and foster a sense of belonging. Every step of the way, our guiding principle has been to serve with intention, ensuring that our actions reflect our commitment to our people. When I reflect on the journey of Wominjeka Services, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to create a lasting impact. It all started with a mother’s love and the desire to make a difference, and I’m proud to see how our community has embraced this mission.
